Regression
No
The Editor fails to build the Player when using a script to switch the Platform from "Dedicated Server"
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “Test Project” project
2. Press Window > MMO > Production Builds > Build Mac Client
3. Press Window > MMO > Production Builds > Build Headless Linux Client
4. Repeat step 2
Expected result: The Project is built without any issue
Actual result: The Editor doesn’t switch to Mac Client and throws an error: “Dedicated Server support for MacStandalone is not installed.”
Reproducible with: 2021.2.9f1, 2021.2.19f1, 2021.3.23f1, 2022.2.16f1, 2023.1.0b13, 2023.2.0a12
Not reproducible with: 2021.2.8f1
Couldn’t test with: 2020.3.47f1 - No support for “StandaloneBuildSubtarget”
Reproducible on: Windows 10
Note:
- On some older Editor versions, the Console throws a different error: “Currently selected scripting backend (Mono) is not installed.”
