Texture with Alpha Source set to Create From Grayscale and Alpha is Transparency checked doesn't appear transparent
Reproduction steps:
1. Open attached project "1317030.zip"
2. Click on "BaseGround1" in the Assets folder
3. In Inspector window, notice how Alpha Source is set to From Gray Scale and that Alpha Is Transparency is checked
4. Drag "BaseGround1" into Scene view
Expected result: White lower part of "BaseGround1" is visible while the black upper part is transparent
Actual result: All of the "BaseGround1" is visible
Reproducible with: 2020.2.0a11, 2020.3.1f1, 2021.1.0f1, 2021.2.0a4
Not reproducible with: 2018.4.33f1, 2019.4.22f1, 2020.2.0a10, 2021.2.0a5, 2021.2.0a9
