Regression
No
Start() and Update() methods are not called after duplicating GameObject with Particle System component
How to reproduce it:
1. Open the user's attached project "H5O.zip"
2. Load the "Level1" Scene
3. Enter the Play Mode
4. Observe the generated "CLOUD(Clone)" (Text UI Components with value "10000") GameObjects in the Game view
Expected result: "CLOUD(Clone)" GameObjects starts to emit particles and its text value decreases
Actual result: "CLOUD(Clone)" GameObjects doesn't start to emit particles after reaching the value "10000"
Reproducible with: 2020.3.13f1, 2021.1.13f1, 2021.2.0b1
Could not test with: 2018.4.36f1, 2019.4.28f1 - due to this error: (File may be corrupted or was serialized with a newer version of Unity.)
Notes:
- "Cloud(Clone)" GameObjects starts to emit particles after clicking on any GameObject in the Scene view in the Play Mode
- Could not test on macOS, because CLOUD GameObjects are not generated
