Stack overflow crash when in Play mode
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the user's attached project
2. Open scene 'Scenes/MainScene'
3. Enter Play mode
Expected result: Play mode opens up and does not crash
Actual result: Editor crashes after a few seconds
Reproducible with: 2021.2.0a18, 2021.3.2f1, 2022.2.0a12
Not reproducible with: 2020.3.34f1, 2021.1.28f1, 2021.2.0a17
Couldn't test with: 2019.4.38f1 (Downgrading issues)
Notes:
1. Reproducible on macOS 11.6
2. In versions up to (but not including) 2021.2.0a18, Editor hangs for several seconds but doesn't crash, yielding the error: "StackOverflowException: The requested operation caused a stack overflow"
