Sprites in the scene don’t turn black after after assigning the 2D renderer component
Steps To Reproduce:
1. Create a new 2D project
2. Import a sprite and move it to hierarchy
3. Package Manager> URP > Import
4. Project > Create > Renderer > Pipeline Asset
5. Project > Create > Renderer > 2D renderer
6. Project Settings> Graphics> Assign the URP asset
7. URP > Inspector > Renderer list > 2D renderer
Expected result: The sprite visible in scene view turns black
Observed Result: The sprite in the hierarchy doesn't turn black
Reproducible In: 2020.2.0a20, 2020.1.01f1, 2019.3.0f1
Reproducible with package version : 8.2.0, 9.0.0, 10.0.0
Environment: Occurs on Win and Mac

Resolution Note:
This is by design. There is built-in render pipeline material on the sprite which is not 2D renderer compatible. We have made it so built-in materials do render, but not with lighting.
The sprite can be upgraded by selecting Edit->Render Pipeline->Universal Render Pipeline->2D Renderer->Upgrade Scene To 2D Renderer
