Shadow rendering artifacts visible in the Scene view when adding “Eye” Shader Material to a Sphere GameObject
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new Unity project
2. Open Shader Graph Templates window (Project window > Create > Shader Graph > From Template)
3. Select “Eye” Template and press “Create”
4. When created, press on “Eye” Shader Asset in Project window and convert it to the Material
5. In Hierarchy create Sphere GameObject
6. Add “Eye” Material to the Sphere GameObject
7. Observe shadows in Scene view
\\
Actual results: Shadow rendering artifacts are visible on the Sphere object when Eye Material is applied
Expected results: No shadow rendering artifacts visible on the Sphere object when Eye Material is applied
\\
Reproducible with versions: 6000.3.8f1, 6000.4.0b8, 6000.5.0a6
Can’t test with versions: 6000.0.66f2 (Templates window not available)
\\
Tested on (OS): macOS Silicon Tahoe 26.2 (M1)
\\
Notes:
- Rendering artifacts are visible in Game View as well
