Selecting game object in the hierarchy after adding Text component via script throws null ref exception
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open attached project "componenttest.zip"
2. Open "1" scene
3. Enter play mode
- Object is created via script and in addition a Text component is added to it
4. Select "empty" game object in the Hierarchy
Result: Null Reference Exception is thrown
Reproduced with: 5.5.0a3, 5.5.0f2, 5.6.0a3
Not reproducible with: 5.4.3f1, 5.5.0a2
Regression introduced in 5.5.0a3
Note: error doesn't get printed out when adding a different UI object (button, inputfield, image etc.)
