Removing an element from a layout group doesn't immediately apply changes to the removed object
Steps to reproduce:
1. open the "bug" scene in the attached project.
2. select the "Layout" GameObject
3. in the Elements area of the inspector for the Horizontal Layout Group component, select the Text element and press the minus button in the lower right to remove it from the element list
4. select the "Text" GameObject and observe that its RectTransform component still thinks it is driven by the layout group.
Expected behavior: RectTransform component is updated immediately
Actual behavior: RectTransform component gets updated only after pressing Run, or saving and reopening the scene.
