Regression with the way AssetBundle.LoadAsset works
retrieved_text = ab.LoadAsset("TextDoc", typeof(TextAsset)) as TextAsset; returns Null
To reproduce:
- open attached project, 07_AssetBundles scene and press play.
- press 1 2 or 3 on your keyboard
- notice the NullReferenceException
This project works in Unity 2017.4.0f1 and 2018.1.0f1
