[Regression] Playmaker Ecosystem Browser fails to search for certain strings
1. What happened
While trying out Playmaker's Ecosystem browser (https://hutonggames.fogbugz.com/default.asp?W1181, https://github.com/jeanfabre/PlayMaker--Ecosystem--Browser), I've found that it won't search for a string containing 'ui' in it: ui, gui, ugui.
Search returns empty results.
This is a regression from 5.6.1f1 and earlier versions.
2. How we can reproduce it using the example you attached
- Open 'Playmaker > Addons > Ecosystem > Ecosystem Browser' window
- Search for 'ugui'
---> 'No result'
There was a result in 5.6, 5.5, ...

Hi Joshua,
Unfortunately, Unity shipped 2017.1 with a bug in their WWW class which broke the Ecosystem Browser.
We're working around this issue and should have an update for the ecosystem this week.
In the meantime, you can find all the ecosystem actions on GitHub as described here:
https://hutonggames.fogbugz.com/default.asp?W1181
The ecosystem should still work fine in Unity 5.6 and Unity 2017.2. So you could also download one of those versions to browse the ecosystem, then transfer the files to your 2017.1 projects.
Sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience while we fix this.
I expect Jean to have a fix in the next couple of days...
Cheers,
Alex

I'm having the same issue, except in the download tutorial on huntonggames webstite the narrator searches for things like vector2 and gets results whereas I don't. If I just do a blank search there are very few addons that show up.
