Prefab in the scene loose its connection to the main prefab in Assets folder after rename on disc
How can we reproduce it
1 Create new project
2 Create a prefab (by dragging GameObject from Scene View to Project Browser )
3 Add prefab to the Scene
4 Find it in Project Browser, RightMouseButton->Show In Explorer and then rename prefab file in Windows Explorer(do not rename .meta file)
5 Go back to Unity Editor
Actual results:
Prefab in Project Browser is renamed correctly, Prefab in the scene lost its connection to the main prefab (prefab name in scene became red)
Expected results: prefab in Scene should not loose connection to the one in Assets folder (Project Browser)
Reproduces on: 2018.4.31f1, 2019.4.29f1, 2020.3.14f1, 2022.1.0b6

Resolution Note:
It is well known that you should rename both the asset and the .meta file if you don't want to lose references. This applies to all assets, not just prefabs.
If you forget to rename the .meta the asset pipeline thinks it is a new assets and will assign it a new GUID and hence all existing references are lost. We can't fix this.
