Player Input Manager does not allow player to join when enabling the “Joining Enabled By Default” setting in Play Mode
How to reproduce:
1. Open the user’s attached “InputSystemJoinPlayerTest.zip” project
2. In the Hierarchy window, select the “PlayerInputManager” GameObject, and in the Inspector window, disable the “Joining Enabled By Default” setting
3. Enter Play Mode and enable the “Joining Enabled By Default” setting, then press the buttonSouth on a controller (“A” on Xbox controller)
4. Observe the game window
Expected result: Cube appeared
Actual result: Cube hasn’t appeared
Reproducible with: 1.1.1 (2020.3.45f1), 1.5.0 (2020.3.45f1, 2021.3.19f1, 2022.2.8f1, 2023.1.0b5, 2023.2.0a3)
Could not test with: 1.1.0-pre.6 (Errors after package downgrade)
Reproduced on: macOS 12.4 (Intel)
Note: Tested with Xbox controller

Enabling the "Joining Enabled By Default" option after the Player is already launched is not currently supported
