Physics simulation causes models to jitter and sometimes fly off the screen
I found this in one of the top selling assets on the asset store: there's something in their "wagon horeses" configuration that causes them to jitter a lot and sometime sthey even fly off the screen.
This doesn't happen in Unity Editor version earlier than 2018.3.0a3
Repro steps
download project or Hose Animpack asset store pack
- Open the HAP Cart Wagon Carriage scene from the _DemoScenes folder
- press play and notice the jittering

Resolution Note (fix version 2019.1):
This issue was caused by scripts that were changing Animator.applyRootMotion at runtime. This triggered an animator Rebind and reinitialized the state machine hence the jittering. We reworked how applyRootMotion works with the Animator bindings so that we no longer need to recreate bindings when we change applyRootMotion value.
