Pause/Resuming WP 8.1 with landscape orientation is broken
When auto-rotation is used with WP 8.1, pause-resuming on a landscape orientation is broken and leads to several issues.
To reproduce:
1. Open attached project. It is StarTrooper.
2. Build & Run for Windows Store with Phone 8.1 sdk
3. When deployed, rotate the phone so the orientation is set to landscape
4. Pause resume in various ways (either by hitting the windows button, holding the back button, calling the search) When returning to the app after the pause:
- sometimes the view fails to rotate back into the landscape orientation (it stays on portrait)
- other times the view is frozen (but the game still works)
- lastly the app sometimes hangs on resuming and cannot be closed (this can be workarounded by removing or adding the usb cable to the phone). Otherwise a full phone restart is needed.
