Particle trail dies when particle is killed through code when "Die With Particles" is disabled
Reproduction steps:
1. Download and open the attached "GetSetParticlesIsKillingTrails.zip" project
2. In the Hierarchy window, select the "x_ParticleSystem_WithScript" game object
3. Observe the selected particle system in the scene view
Expected result: The particle trail fades away after the particles die
Actual result: The particle trail dies with the particles
Reproducible with: 2019.4.36f1, 2020.3.30f1, 2021.2.14f1, 2022.1.0b10, 2022.2.0a7

WORKAROUND:
if (_particles[index].remainingLifetime == 0f)
{
_particles[index].remainingLifetime = float.Epsilon;
}
Then use SetParticles() as usual, worked on Unity 2022.3

Still an issue in 2022.3.34F1. Why has this not been fixed after over a year? Terrible response time.
