[Packman] "Reset Packages to Defaults" has no effect
[Packman] "Reset Packages to Defaults" has no effect
The "Reset Packages to Defaults" entry which is found under the Help menu no longer appears to have any effect on the manifest or installed packages. Any non-default packages installed will remain in the project and manifest.
Steps to reproduce
- Create/open an Unity 2019.3.0a7(+) project
- Open Package Manager (Window > Package Manager)
- Install a package or several (any non-default)
- Close the Package Manger dialog
- Reset packages to default (Help > Reset Packages to Defaults), accepting the warning
- Open Package Manager (Window > Package Manager)
- Observe the previously installed packages are still installed into the project
Workaround:
Click the 'Refresh' button, located under the list of packages to refresh the installed list of packages
