NullReferenceException is thrown when the Custom Mesh option in the Shader Graph Main Preview window is selected
How to reproduce:
# Open the attached project "U-Shaders.zip"
# Open Assets/FlatSingleColor.shadergraph
# Click the right mouse button on the Main Preview window
# Select Custom Mesh
Expected results: No errors thrown in the Console window
Actual results: "NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" thrown in the Console window
Reproducible with: 2022.2.0b5, 2022.2.5f1, 2023.1.0b3
Not reproducible with: 2020.3.44f1, 2021.3.17f1, 2022.1.24f1, 2022.2.0b4
Reproducible on: Windows 10

I am experiencing this same issue in 2022.2.12f1. Windows 10 here.
