NullReferenceException is thrown when setting the sprite of a UI Image and the associated texture has been destroyed
Reproduction steps:
1. Open project “ImageSprite”
2. Open scene “SampleScene”
3. Enter Play mode
Expected result: no errors are thrown in the Console
Actual result: NullReferenceException is thrown in the Console
Reproducible with: 2022.1.0a7, 2022.2.5f1, 2023.1.0b2
Not reproducible with: 2020.3.44f1, 2021.3.18f1, 2022.1.0a6
Reproducible on: macOS Catalina 10.15.7 (Intel)
Note: also reproducible with Standalone build
