Minor changes to Y rotation of particle system with X scale -1 or below result in huge visual difference
Reproduction steps:
1. Download project "Scratch.zip" and open in Unity
2. Select the "trail" object in hierarchy
3. Set the Y rotation of the "trail" object from 9.67 to 9.67001, 9.67002, 9.67003
Expected: changing Y rotation by 0.00001 should not have large effect on the visual
Actual: changing Y rotation (X scale is set to -1 or lower) results in large visual difference
Reproduced on: 2017.2.0b1; 2017.2.1p1; 2017.3.0p1; 2018.1.0b2
Not reproduced on: 2017.1.3f1; 2017.2.0a4
Regression introduced: 2017.2.0b1
Note: setting the X scale to a value larger than -1 results as expected.
