Main Unity toolbar: "Unity Version Control" control isn't aligned to all other controls
Steps to reproduce:
- Create 2D/3D project;
- Observe the "Unity Version Control" control next to the "Asset Store" control in the left top editor corner
Expected result: The button should be the same high as all other buttons in this line.
Actual result: The button is higher compared will other buttons. It stands out from the rest. Added screenshot in the "Attachments" section.
Reproducible with: 2021.3.26f1, 2022.2.19f1, 2023.1.0b18, 2023.2.0a15.

Resolution Note (fix version 6000.0.0b12):
This change requires good coordination with the Unity Version Control team, as the button itself cannot be fixed until the Editor toolbar supports it.
For that reason, we will be splitting the work in two parts.
UUM-36270 (this ticket) will set the basis in the Editor side, without introducing any breaking change.
UUM-66555 will use the changes in UUM-36270 to fix the Unity Version Control button, ensuring backward compatibility.
