[macOS] Error "ArgumentOutOfRangeException" thrown when pasting a long text in the search bar of Contextual menu
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new Unity project
2 Right-click on the Project window to open the Context menu
3. In the context menu search bar paste the "Lorem Ipsum" placeholder text paragraph multiple times
4. Observe the Console window
Expected result: No errors thrown in the Console
Actual result: "ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values." error spammed in the Console window
Reproducible with: 2023.2.0b1, 2023.2.0b12, 2023.3.0a7
Not reproducible with: 2023.2.0a23
Reproducible on: macOS Ventura 13.4.1 (Apple M1 Max)
Notes:
- On Windows 10 Editor crashes (known bug UUM-48565)
