[Linux] VFX Graph input property can only be dragged into the graph area when its explicitly selected
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open any HDRP project
2. Open any VFX graph
3. Optional: create a new input property inside the VFX graph if there are none
4. Click anywhere inside the empty graph area to make sure nothing is selected
5. Try to drag and drop an input property into the graph area (see the attached video for this issue in action)
Actual result: the drop event is not properly captured and results in no property being added to the graph area
Expected result: the drop event is captured correctly and the property is added to the graph view regardless of whether it had been pre-selected
Reproducible with: 2022.3.56f1, 2023.1.0a19, 2023.1.0b16, 2023.2.0a6, 2023.2.0b17, 6000.0.34f1, 6000.1.0b2
Not reproducible with: 2023.2.0a7, 2023.2.0b16
Note: this issue is only reproducible on Linux. It also seems to have been fixed around version 2023.2.0a6.
Tested using Ubuntu 22.04, Ubuntu 24.04
