[Linux] Check for Updates does not produce Unity Editor Update Check window
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Unity editor
2. Select Help -> Check for Updates
Expected result: Unity Editor Update Check window appears with the update information
Actual result: Unity Editor Update Check windows does not appear
Reproducible with: 2017.2.0f1, 2017.2.0f3, 2017.3.0b1
