Lerp in Shaders behaves abnormally when using different GPUs
How to reproduce:
1. Open "Main Scene" in the attached "LerpShaderBug.zip"
2. Click on the Assets > Models > Jungle Plant > "Jungle plant" Material
3. In the SSS method Dropdown choose SSS with lerp v1
4. Observe the "Plant" GameObject in the Scene View
Expected behavior: The Color of the plant is rendered smoothly, without any inconsistent Shadows
Actual behavior: Some parts of the Plant has inconsistently dark Shadows
Reproducible with: 2018.3.7f1, 2019.1.0b5 , 2019.2.0a7
Note: The issue is reproducible with Nvidia 750 ti, Radeon R7 370, Radeon HD 5750 and partly reproducible with Nvidia 1060 and MAC. The issue did not reproduce with Nvidia 760. Could not test with 2017.4 - the user's prefabs break in that stream.

Resolution Note:
GPU/driver specific behavioral difference which cannot really be fixed on Unity side. Better use the ternary op which is proven to work.
