isDebugBuild returns False in the Editor when its value is checked after a build
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project "Case_1317834"
2. Build the project
3. Observe the Console Window
Expected result: isDebugBuild returns True
Actual result: isDebugBuild returns False
Reproducible with: 2018.4.32f1, 2019.4.22f1, 2020.3.0f1, 2021.1.0b11, 2021.2.0a8
Notes:
- Restarting the Editor resets isDebugBuild to True
- Screenshot is attached of the Console output showing isDebugBuild being false

Unfortunately this case's statuses were messed up by migration to Jira. So it is fixed and the fix landed in 2022.2.0a2 (that should be updated on the main view above soon) . I am requesting backports for it right now

I have never enabled "enter play mode options" in unity and I still get this error. I toggled it on and back off, then rebuilt the game. It does not help with this issue for me.

I'm having this same issue after making a development build of my game.
I tested on Windows and Android builds, and the issue happened on both platforms.
Unity 2021.3.0f1 LTS
URP 12.1.6

Same error here happens infinitely while the game is running. Hope there can be a fix. Unity version 2021.2.15f1
