[iOS]Terrain has graphical artefacts when Draw Instanced is enabled and Anisotropic Textures are Forced on
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached test1.zip project
2. Build for iOS and deploy the Xcode project to the device
Actual: Terrain has graphical artifacts (see the Untitled.mov attached in the edit section)
Reproducible with: 2019.3.8f1, 2020.1.0b5, 2020.2.0a7
Reproducible with:
- iPhone 7 (iOS 12.3.1)
- iPad 7th generation (iOS 13.2.2)
Not reproducible with:
- Mac Standalone
- VLNQA00277, Asus ROG Phone (ASUS_Z01QD), Android 8.1.0, CPU: Snapdragon 845 SDM845, GPU: Adreno (TM) 630
Notes:
- Anisotropic Textures are Forced on are set in the Project Settings/Quality/Rendering
- Draw Instanced is enabled in the Terrain Settings
- Could not test with earlier versions because of the thrown errors

Resolution Note (2020.2.X):
This is by design in Metal. Anisotropic texture reads in vertex shaders are undefined behavior.
