[iOS] Splash Screen memory allocation does not get freed when splash texture is unloaded
How to reproduce:
1. Open the user’s attached “Memory test.zip” project
2. Go to the Build Settings, enable “Development Build” then build for iOS
3. In the Xcode project open the ”Allocations” app (Applications > Xcode > Contents > Applications > Instruments)
4. Deploy the project to a device and in the “Allocations” window attach your device then select built project as a process
5. When an app gets installed immediately start allocation
6. Observe memory usage of “VM: ImageIO_PNG_Data” in the statistics tab
Expected result: “VM: ImageIO_PNG_Data” is freed after the Splash Screen sequence concludes
Actual result: “VM: ImageIO_PNG_Data” is 8 MiB
Reproducible with: 2020.3.44f1, 2021.3.16f1, 2022.2.3f1, 2023.1.0a26
Reproduced on:
VLNQA00494 - iPhone 14 Pro Max, 16.0.3 iOS
VLNQA00358 - iPhone 12, 14.1 iOS
Note: In 2020.2.44f1 editor memory of “VM: ImageIO_PNG_Data” is 16 MiB
