[iOS 14][VR][2018.4] View spins unintentionally when the application is deployed to an iOS 14 device
How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached 'iOS14XR.zip' project
2. Switch Platform to iOS and build the Xcode project
3. Open the terminal
4. Navigate to build folder
5. Enter 'pod install'
6. Open generated Xcode workspace
7. Comment out 111 line in UnityViewControllerBase+iOS.mm to avoid crash
8. Deploy Xcode project to an iOS device
Expected result: View does not spin
Actual result: View spins
Reproducible with: 2018.4.27f1
Reproducible with:
iPad 9.7’ 6th gen (iOS 14.2)
Not reproducible with:
iPhone 8+ (iOS 12.0)
iPhone XR (iOS 13.4.1)
Notes:
- Video of the issue is attached in Edit
- From 2019.3 cardboard is not officially supported thus not adding further streams to the reproducible list
- If you are lack of cocoapods, you can install it using the following steps:
1. Enter 'sudo gem install -n /usr/local/bin cocoapods'
2. Enter '/usr/local/bin/pod setup'
3. Enter '/usr/local/bin/pod repo update'
