Inconsistency with Resources.Load () - 'Resources.Load () as Sprite' does not load Sprite
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open user attached project
2. Open Resources/Scenes/Main.unity scene
3. Play the scene
4. Notice that the spriteRenderer.sprite = Resources.Load ("Sprites/S") as Sprite; command does not load
Expected result: spriteRenderer.sprite = Resources.Load ("Sprites/S") as Sprite; should load a sprite
Reproduced in: 2017.3.0b1, 2017.2.0b1, 2017.1.1p3, 5.6.3p4, 5.5.4p5
