Importing VFX Samples via “All Samples” section from Package Manager throws errors and warnings in the Console window
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create new Unity project
2. Open Package Manager window
3. In “Unity Registry” find and install Visual Effect Graph package
4. Once installed select “All Samples”
5. Find and Import “Learning Templates” Samples
6. Observe Console window once “Learning Templates” Samples are imported
Actual results: “Problem detected while importing the Prefab file” errors and “Remove 1 child(ren) that couldnt be deserialized from of type UnityEditor.VFX.VFXGraph” warnings are thrown in the Console window after importing Learning Template Samples
Expected results: No errors or warnings are thrown in the Console window after importing Learning Templates via “All Samples” section
Reproducible with versions: 6000.5.0a8, 6000.5.0a9, 6000.6.0a1
Can’t test with versions: 6000.5.0a7 and lower (different Package Manager design, no “All Samples” selection available in the window)
Tested on (OS): macOS Silicon Tahoe 26.3.1 (M1), Ubuntu 24.04
Notes:
- if importing samples from “Samples” tab when Visual Effect Graph package is selected - no errors, or warnings are thrown in the Console
