[HDRP] Text(TMP) gets pixelated on enabling/disabling Font Auto size
TMP Text gets pixelated on:
-Enabling/Disabling Font Auto size.
-Enabling/Disabling RTL Editor.
-Changing Alignment.
Steps to repro:
1. Create a new HDRP Project.
2. Windows > Package Manager > TextMeshPro(3.00-preview.11) > Update.
3. GameObject > 3D Object > Text - TextMeshPro.
4. Enable/Disable Font Auto Size.
Actual Result:
Text(TMP) gets pixelated on enabling/Disabling Font Auto size.
Expected Result:
Text(TMP) should not get pixelated on enabling/Disabling Font Auto size.
Reproducible in:
2020.2.0a11, 2020.1.0b8, 2020.1.0a23 with Package Version 9.0.0, 8.1.0, 8.0.1.
Working Fine in:
2019.3.13f1 with PAckage version 7.3.1.
Tested on TMP Package Version: 3.0.0-preview.11, 3.0.0-preview.1.
Environment:
Occurring only on Windows 10.

Resolution Note:
It's a side-effect of having TAA enabled. The game view only renders on-demand when not in play mode. TAA being a temporal effect, it needs several frames to resolve the final result. As such, rendering a single frame when the previous frame contains very different information will result in artifacts in edit mode until the game view gets refresh (either by resizing it, moving the mouse across or anything else that affects rendering).
It worked in 7.3.1 because TAA wasn't enabled by default as it is since.
