Graphics API settings are applied to all same platform Build Profiles when changing the setting on one Build Profile
Reproduction steps:
1. Create and open a new project
2. Open the Build Profiles Window (File > Build Profiles)
3. In the Build Profiles Window, select a platform
4. Press the “Add Build Profile” button
5. In the Build Profile, press the “Customize player settings” button
6. Repeat 3-5 steps
7. In the first Build Profile, disable the Auto Graphics API (Player Settings Overrides > Other Settings > Rendering > Auto Graphics API for <any platform>)
8. Observe the same setting in the second Build Profile
Expected result: The Auto Graphics API setting is enabled
Actual result: The Auto Graphics API setting is disabled
Reproducible with: 6000.0.2f1
Could not test with: 2021.3.38f1, 2022.3.29f1 (Build Profiles are not available for these streams)
Reproducible on: MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1 (Intel), Windows 11 (user’s)
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- Changing the Graphics API in one Build Profile also applies it to the other Build Profile
- The issue is not reproducible with other settings
- Reproducible with any platform Build Profile
