Generating Light Probe lighting returns inconsistent results on a specific mesh
How to reproduce:
- Open the “TunnelGI.zip“ project
- Open the “OutdoorsScene”
- “Generate Lighting” in Window → Rendering → Lighting window
- Explore the inside of the curved tube in the Scene view and observe
Expected result: The inside of the tube is lit or unlit somewhat evenly throughout its length
Actual result: Some sections of the inside of the tube are lit more than other parts (the tube is mostly very dark)
Reproducible in: 2022.3.67f1, 6000.0.59f1, 6000.2.7f1, 6000.3.0b4, 6000.4.0a1
Could not test in: 2022.1.0a1 (the inside of the curved tube is lit even before generating lighting, unexpected result)
Reproduced on: Windows 11 Pro (24H2)
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested
Notes:
- The Light probes are using Enlighten
- Seems to affect this specific tube object (when tested with another custom-made tube)
