Errors “Converting invalid MinMaxAABB” and “Invalid AABB result” when scaling object with trail renderer
How to reproduce:
1. Create a new 3D project
2. Import the attached custom package (Assets > Import Package > Custom Package)
3. On the “Projects” tab, go to the “Assets > Scenes” folder and double-click the “scnGamePlay” scene to select it
4. Click on the “Console” tab (clear if not already empty)
5. Start the scene
6. A blue screen is displayed with a Start button, Stop button and a Move counter
7. Press the “Start” button
8. A green sphere starts to move rapidly around the screen with a white trail and the move counter advances
9. Somewhere about the 135th move console errors begin to appear : “Converting invalid MinMaxAABB” “Invalid AABB result”
Note: If Trail Renderer in TokenTrail (GameplayRoot->World->LayoutRoot->TokenRiit->TokenTRail) is disabled, one will not get any errors. If 257 line is commented (where token is scaled), one will not get errors.
Not reproducible: 5.3.6p2, 5.4.0b5
By Design: User set ever-increasing transform value due to this scale overflows
