[EditorGUI] System.TypeCode enum String value cannot be selected from an EditorGUI popup
Steps to reproduce:
1) Open the attached project.
2) In Hierarchy, select the 'Test' gameObject.
3) In the Inspector, select Test Behaviour > Custom Display > String.
An range exception is logged in the console:
enum index is out of range
UnityEditor.SerializedProperty:set_enumValueIndex(Int32)
This happens because the last element of System.TypeCode enum (String) could not be reassigned its value.
Reproduced on:
2018.3.0a1, 2018.1.0f2, 2017.1.4p1
