Editor crashes when using recursion that is causing stack overflow
Reproduction steps:
- Open the user-attached project
- Click on the “New Enemy” asset contained in the Assets folder
Expected result: StackOverflowException errors are thrown in the Console
Actual result: Editor crashes silently
Reproducible with: 2020.3.40f1, 2021.1.28f1, 2021.2.0a17
Not reproducible with: 2021.2.0a18, 2021.3.11f1, 2022.1.19f1, 2022.2.0b10, 2023.1.0a13
Reproduced on: Windows 10
Note: no stacktrace obtained
