Decal Material Normal Blend affecting whole area of URP Decal Projector
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open users’ project “2021.2 Test Project.zip”
2. In the Hierarchy window double click Game Object “bullet hole” to zoom in
3. In the Inspector window expand “Bullet Hole (Material)” properties
4. Under Inputs change the “Normal Blend” value to 1
Expected results: Normal Blend does not affect transparent Base Map parts
Actual results: The whole area inside URP Decal Projector is affected by Normal Blend
Reproducible with: 12.0.0 (2021.2.0a4, 2021.2.0b9, 2022.1.0a6)
Could not test with: 11.0.0 (2021.2.0a3) or lower, decals were added to 12.0.0 version
