Regression
No
Cut doesn't delete the object
How to reproduce:
1. Open/create any project
2. Select "Main Camera" game object in the scene
3. Press Ctrl/Cmd + x
4. Try to move the object
5. Select "Directional Light" and press Ctrl/Cmd + x
Expected result: After cut, the object is deleted
Actual result: After cut, the object's properties still can be changed and if another object is cut, the first object reappears
Reproducible with: 2021.3.27f1, 2022.3.1f1, 2023.1.0b19, 2023.2.0a18

Resolution Note:
This behavior is replicating the one from OS systems.
Cutting is not destroying the object, it will wait for the paste action to actually be performed by moving the object in the scene, or in another scene, or under another gameobject if selecting "Paste as child".
