Custom Render Pass using Render Graph does not render to the Game view when used with a 2D URP Renderer
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “IN-87488.zip” project
2. Open the “Gameplay” Scene (Assets > Scenes)
3. Select “Global Volume” GameObject from the Hierarchy
4. In the Inspector, find the ‘Screen Transition’ Override
5. Move the “Amount” property slider back and forth
6. Observe the Game view
Expected result: A white transition effect is visible in the Game view
Actual result: Nothing changes in the Game view
Reproducible with: 6000.0.25f1, 6000.1.0a1
Fixed in: 6000.1.0a2
Couldn’t test with: 2021.3.45f1, 2022.3.51f1 (Render Graph not compatible)
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: no other environment tested
Notes:
- Viewing in the Frame Debugger and clicking on the ‘Screen Transition Pass’, shows the expected behavior
- Could not reproduce on a new project
