Crash when trying to access null object in OnGUI() on GUI Button press
How to reproduce:
1. Open attached project ("case_1033579_repro.zip")
2. Enter play mode
3. Press "Process" button in the top left corner of the game screen
Expected result: NullReferenceException
Actual result: Unity crashes
Reproducible with - 2018.2.0b3, 2018.1.0f2, 2018.1.0a6
Not reproducible with - 2018.1.0a5, 2017.4.2f2, 2017.2.3f1, 2017.1.3p4
Verified in: 2018.2.0b6

I'm surprised you can't reproduce this. In my experience, Unity will crash if there's any unhandled exception - every single time. I've seen this on 2018.2.0f2.
