Regression
Yes
Crash in RtlUserThreadStart when baking Global Illumination using Progressive GPU
Steps to reproduce:
1. Open the attached project ("1211300.zip")
2. Open "CrashScene" Scene (Might crash after this step as it auto-bakes)
3. Select "GameObject" in the Hierarchy
4. Move it so the light would rebake
Reproducible with: 2020.1.0a12, 2020.1.0a21
Not reproducible with: 2019.2.20f1, 2019.3.0f6, 2020.1.0a11
Couldn't properly test 2017.4 and 2018.4 due to Filtering Denoisers settings being unavailable
First lines of the stacktrace:
0x00007FFD4A92CED1 (ntdll) RtlUserThreadStart
Notes:
- The issue only reproduces when OpenImageDenoise is set as Ambient Occlusion Denoiser and both Direct Denoiser and Indirect Denoiser is set to None
- Sometimes checking Multiple Importance Sampling might help evoke the crash
