[Mac][Linux] "Could not create asset from <...> File could not be read" image errors when importing package from Git URL
Reproduction steps:
1. Open new Unity Project
2. In Package Manager window, Add package from git URL -> https://github.com/Unity-Technologies/Graphics.git?path=com.unity.postprocessing
3. After package is imported, observe Console window
Expected result: No errors
Actual result: "Could not create asset from <...> File could not be read" errors
Reproducible with: 2019.4.32f1, 2020.3.22f1, 2021.1.28f1, 2021.2.3f1, 2022.1.0a15
Notes:
1. Issue reproduces on macOS and Ubuntu 20.04
2. Issue does not reproduce on Windows 10

When cloning repository that tracks files with Git LFS (with Add package from git URL specifically), the Git LFS client must also be installed on the user machine:
