“[Cloud Code]: Failed to generate code bindings” error is thrown and code bindings are not generated when generating bindings for Cloud Code on non-C drive
Reproduction steps:
1. Open the attached “BugRepro” project on a drive other than C
2. Select the “Assets/new_module_reference.ccmr” file
3. Click “Generate Solution” in the Inspector window
4. Click “Generate Bindings” in the Inspector window
Expected result: No error is thrown and code bindings are generated
Actual result: “[Cloud Code]: Failed to generate code bindings. Error: Source and destination path must have identical roots. Move will not work across volumes” is thrown and code bindings are not generated
Reproducible with: 2021.3.37f1, 2022.3.24f1, 2023.2.18f1, 6000.0.0b15
Reproducible on: Windows 11
Not reproducible on: No other environment tested
This issue has been resolved in com.unity.services.cloudcode version 2.9.0

I'm still getting this error in Unity 6 with latest packages.
How is a simple error like this taking so long to resolve?

I get this error too, followed by an AssetDatabase warning:
Invalid AssetDatabase path: C:\TEMP\CODESM~1\bindings-generation-CC_HelloWorld. Use path relative to the project folder.
My project is on U:\ drive. I copied it to C:\<project> and was able to generate bindings.
