Closing Search Picker wipes Undo history
Steps to reproduce:
- Create a new project
- Make sure your preference for the Object Selector Search Engine is set to Advanced: Edit/Preferences/Search/Object Selector -> Advanced.
- Click GameObject/3D Object/Cube
- Open the Undo History window (Window/General Undo History). Make sure there's some history in it. Change some stuff in the scene to add some.
- Select Cube and click to change the Mesh reference. The Search picker window should open.
- Close the window without making any selection
Actual results: Undo History is gone!
Expected results: Undo History remains untouched.
Reproducible with versions: 6000.2.0a11
Not reproducible with versions: 6000.1.0f1, 6000.0.49f1, 7000.0.0a26
Can’t test with versions:
Tested on (OS): Windows 10, Windows 11
Notes:
- The same happens if you select an item in the picker. This happens with other object pickers so is not specific to the Mesh Renderer.
