Clearing the console after API Updater fails due to recursion clears the recursion error
How to reproduce:
1. Open new project
2. Import this package from the Asset Store: https://www.assetstore.unity3d.com/en/#!/content/47248
3. Use the API Updater
- The API Updater should fail
4. Clear the log
- Note that the log is cleared completely
- Trying to play any scene results in an error that asks the user to fix any compiler errors, even though there are no compiler errors visible in the console
- Additionally, the recursion error displays no information as to where the recursion actually occurred
- Reproduced with 5.6.0b9 (e1cc23a55ad8)
- Happens in earlier versions as well
