"BlendTreeWorkspace is NULL" error when opening the Blend Tree editor and having the "Reload Domain" option off

How to reproduce:
1. Open the attached user project “unity-playground-3.zip“
2. Enter Play Mode
3. Open the “PlayerAnimator“ Animator Controller (Assets/Art/Characters/Player/Animation)
4. Open the Blend Tree state "Move"

Expected result: There are no errors in the Console
Actual result: “BlendTreeWorkspace is NULL“ error in the Console

Reproducible with: 2021.3.18f1
Not reproducible with: 2022.1.0a14, 2022.2.6f1, 2023.1.0b3, 2023.2.0a1
Can’t test with: 2020.3.45f1, 2021.1.28f1, 2021.2.0a21, 2021.2.19f1, 2022.1.0a13 (Other errors in the Console than “BlendTreeWorkspace is NULL“)

Reproduced on: macOS 13.0.1 (Intel)
