AssetImportWorker crash on (KERNELBASE) RaiseException when switching between Web and UWP Platforms in Build Profiles
Steps to reproduce:
- Make sure Web and Universal Windows Platform Build modules are installed
- Create a new project using Universal 2D template
- Go to File > Build Profiles
- Add a Web Build Profile and switch to it
- Once switched, create a Universal Windows Platform Build Profile
- Switch to Universal Windows Platform Profile
- Observe the Console
Actual results: The AssetImportWorker2 has crashed. Please report a bug with the following Stack Trace" errors are shown
Expected results: no errors
Reproducible with versions: 6000.3.0b5, 6000.3.7f1, 6000.4.0b8, 6000.5.0a6
Not reproducible with versions: 6000.3.0b4, 6000.0.67f1
Tested on (OS): Windows 10, Windows 11
{}Notes:{}{}{{}}
- Could not find the exact regression version due to reproduction being time-consuming and sometimes inconsistent
- Best to reproduce on Universal 2D template, because on newer versions (6.4 and 6.5) no pre-configured build profiles are available. It looks like this is related specifically to creating new build profiles and switching to them.
