Postponed means that the issue was either a feature request or something that requires major refactoring on our side. Since that makes the issue not actionable in the close future we choose to close it as Postponed and add it on our internal roadmaps and technical debt pages instead.

Regression
No
Asset reference is null after disk operations
To reproduce:
1. Open attached project
2. In the menu bar open up Swing > TestWindow
3. Drag the "test" asset (from project) into the first Asset slot of the window. Note that the lower asset slot is no longer null
4. Open up explorer and in the project directory navigate to the folder "Fake Source Control". Copy the test asset and paste it into the assets folder (overwrite the existing asset)
5. Return to unity, the bottom asset reference is lost
Pressing the "fix" button will regain the reference
