Asset is not loaded in Play Mode when using UnityEngine.Object
How to reproduce:
1. Open the project “IN_29193”
2. Enter the Play Mode
3. Observe the Console
Expected result: “loaded main” is printed in the Console and Addressables Main asset is loaded
Actual result: “loaded main” is not printed in the Console and Addressables Main asset is not loaded
Reproducible with: 1.19.19, 1.21.1, 1.21.2 (2020.3.44f1, 2021.3.18f1, 2022.2.5f1, 2023.1.0b2)
Reproducible on: Windows 10 Pro
Notes: not reproducible in Player
Workaround: use “Addressables.LoadAssetAsync<mysub>” instead of “Addressables.LoadAssetAsync<UnityEngine.Object>”
