Add Control Scheme window closes when trying to add Device Type to a list, the Input Action asset has unsaved changes, and auto-save is enabled
How to reproduce:
- Create and open a new project
- Install the Input System package in Package Manager (Windows → Package Management → Unity Registry)
- Create an Input Actions asset in the Project window and double-click it to open it
- Enable “Auto-save“ in the window
- Add a new Control Scheme
- Press the “+” icon in the Device Type section
- Observe the window
Expected result: The “Add Control Scheme“ window persists
Actual result: The “Add Control Scheme“ window disappears
Reproducible in: 1.8.0, 1.15.0 (6000.0.59f1, 6000.2.7f1, 6000.3.0b4, 6000.4.0a1)
Not reproducible in: 1.8.0-pre.2 (6000.4.0a1)
Reproduced on: Windows 11 Pro (24H2)
Not reproduced on: No other environment tested
Note: If the asset is auto-saved (is not dirty anymore), add another Action or a new Action Map to make the asset dirty again, then continue from step 5
